For more than a century, CHS has worked diligently to protect our community’s children and strengthen their families.
Today, we reach out across California and nationwide to help strengthen families through our diverse programs and services.

In 1974, CHS’s Child Care and Development Services programs began in San Diego with a $35,000 allocation.
