Coping Strategies for Stress and Anger Management

This provider workshop will provide participants with the fundamentals of building healthy, strong, and long-lasting relationships. Participants of this workshop will learn anger management techniques that will allow them to work through challenging situations.
Providers participating in CHS’s Child Care Payment Program or Family Child Care Home Education Network are invited to the following Information Session for Child Care Providers, held after the workshop, from 7:30 – 8:00 p.m.
Resource and Referral Program (R&R) Overview. The session for this quarter will review resources available from R&R, including Child Care Referrals, Lending Library, Health and Safety Reimbursement, Child Care Initiative Project (CCIP), Emergency Child Care Services (Bridge), and Professional Development Workshops.

Resource and Referral (R&R) Education & Resource Lending Library

End: Sat, June 6, 10:30 am
Parents, child care providers, and the community are invited to use our free lending library service. Participants can check out up to five items per month from the lending library. Materials available for check out include educational toys and books. Participants can also request parenting information, community resources, and have access to die cut machines and lamination services. Please note that for the safety of children, only adults are allowed in the library. The Lending Library will be open on the dates below from 8:30 – 10:30 a.m.

During this workshop, participants will acquire skills and learn helpful tips regarding ways in which they can help minimize the negative impact that social media can have on their children. The goal of this workshop is to increase parents’ and caregivers’ knowledge and understanding of the latest social media safety guidelines for their children.

Family Child Care Home Education Network (FCCHEN) parents:
The Parent Advisory Committee Meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to invite parents to share their thoughts about the Family Child Care Home Education Network (FCCHEN) Program, get clarification on program
policies, provide input on workshop topics, discuss issues
and success stories concerning children’s health and
development, and also meet other families participating
in the FCCHEN Program.
Child care will not be provided.
