Trauma-Informed Care Module 1

Child Care Providers are invited to join us for this free training presented by the Emergency Child Care Bridge Program.

Learn to define trauma and recognize the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and what we can do to help children heal, cope, and promote resilience-building practices. Child Care Providers will learn about early childhood trauma and how it effects child development and behavior including children in foster care. You will learn the most meaningful skills that can be used in your everyday work to promote better health and brighter futures.

This training is module 1 of a 2 part series.  Priority registration will be offered for Bridge Program Providers.

Cuidado Informado Sobre El Trauma Módulo1

Los proveedores de cuidado infantil están invitados a participar en este taller gratuito presentado por el Programa Bridge Del Cuidado Infantil de Emergencia.

Aprenda a definir el trauma y reconocer el impacto de las Experiencias Adversas en la Infancia (ACE) y lo que podemos hacer para ayudar a los niños a sanar, enfrentar y promover las prácticas de desarrollo de la resiliencia. Los proveedores de cuidado infantil aprenderán sobre que es el trauma en la primera infancia y cómo afecta el desarrollo y el comportamiento de los niños. Aprenderá las habilidades significativas que se pueden usar en su trabajo diario para promover una mejor salud y futuros más brillantes.   

Este entrenamiento es el módulo 1 de una serie de 2 partes. Los proveedores del programa Bridge tendran registro de prioridad.

Supporting School Readiness in a Child Care Home

The Family Child Care Home Education Network (FCCHEN), the Child Care Initiative Project (CCIP), and the Resource and Referral Program (R&R) invite you to join us for Part 1 of a free six (6) course of  trainings.

Part 1: The Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ) and Parent Engagement.

The purpose of the Early Childhood School Readiness Project (ECSRP) is to increase the level of school readiness among three- to five-year-old children by increasing the knowledge and quality of programming in licensed family child care homes, and increasing parent engagement in their childs school readiness.

Registration will open to child care providers starting July 19, 2019.

Trauma Informed Care-Giving Module 2

Child Care Providers are invited to join us for this free training presented by the Emergency Child Care Bridge Program.

The purpose of this training is to teach child care providers about self-care strategies that can be used to manage the stress associated with caring for children who have a history of trauma. They will learn how to practice resilience-building. Child care providers will be given tools to add to their self-care tool box, and the opportunity to share their own strategies with others.

Priority registration will be offered for Bridge Program Providers.
