Available free of charge, the Family Education brochures cover topics such as Positive Discipline, School Readiness, and When a Child Bites. The Family Education brochures are available in print in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese.

STEM Booklet
STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and math. STEM is a way of teaching that stresses the importance of encouraging children to use a hands-on, problem-solving approach to learning.

Activity Book
Our Activity Book allows CHS to reach out to children ages 5 to 12 by educating them on a variety of important subjects, including bullying, character, exercise, health, nutrition, and safety. Children learn while having fun by completing activities such as a crossword puzzle, maze, connect-the-dots activity, and word search. CHS’s Activity Book is available in print in English and Spanish.

Character Growth Chart
The Character Growth Chart is CHS's tool that not only measures the height of a growing child, but also encourages children to build character as they read about qualities such as gratitude, responsibility, generosity, and patience. Presented in a mail-ready envelope, the Character Growth Chart also includes a tip sheet of educational activities to make the most of this valuable resource. The chart is available in print in English and Spanish.

Development Stages Wheel
With the help of CHS’s Development Stages Wheel, parents and caregivers can learn to identify crucial stages in their children’s development from birth-6 years and the appropriate activities to support and stimulate growth. The Development Stages Wheel is available in print in English and Spanish.

School Readiness Kit
The School Readiness Kit highlights the role that parents play in supporting their child’s school readiness. Inside the folder and on the game spinner, you will find simple, everyday activities to help develop your child’s inner strengths and academic skills. Spending time with your child doing the activities in this kit will help your child transition to Kindergarten and achieve success both in school and in life.
